Class Edge – Late scratching at 8.09am when Mr G. Doyle reported the greyhound to have an injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Mepunga Holly and Red Gate were slow to begin.
Speedy Evie and Red Gate collided soon after the start. Mepunga Holly checked off Ask Yourself on the first turn checking Red Gate which stumbled. Rik Lee checked off Oshkosh Nar approaching the third turn and again on the third turn. Rik Lee, Oshkosh Nar and Ask Yourself collided on the fifth turn checking Oshkosh Nar. Rik Lee and Oshkosh Nar collided on the home turn. Rik Lee and Arancini collided in the home straight.
