La Caprice was slow to begin.

Acer, Sense and Little Kiddy collided soon after the start checking Sense.  Nellie Briggs and Ray Shoesmith collided soon after the start.  Acer and Sense collided approaching the 250m mark checking Sense and Grumpy Ray.  Littly Kiddy and Grumpy Ray collided at the 250m mark checking Little Kiddy.  

Stewards spoke to Mr Jai Formosa, the representative of Nellie Briggs and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.

All Inn Dawn and Paddy Ray were slow to begin.

Paddy Ray and Got Some Zip collided soon after the start checking Paddy Ray and All Inn Dawn.  Cracked Pepper and Pool Robot collided approaching the 250m mark.  Aston Malibu and Got Some Zip collided approaching the 250m mark.  All Inn Dawn and Paddy Ray collided approaching the 250m mark checking Paddy Ray.  All Inn Dawn and Got Some Zip collided approaching the 150m mark.  Cracked Pepper checked off Paddy Ray approaching the 100m mark.  

Queen Of Promise was quick to begin.  Bugsy Magic was slow to begin.

Hostile Intent crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Hostile Intent checked off Queen Of Promise at the 250m mark.  Princetown Boy crossed to the inside approaching the 150m mark.  Braemar Tatiana faltered approaching the 150m mark and lost considerable ground.

Braemar Tatiana underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey and right pencil muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Dirty Azzurri - Late scratching at 10:56am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness - elevated temperature. A 7 day stand down period was imposed

A pre-race sample was taken from Tears In Eyes.

Happy As Larry, Tears In Eyes and Bruree Boy were slow to begin.

Tears In Eyes and Bruree Boy collided soon after the start.  Happy As Larry crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark.  No Sugar checked Trixie's Rocket at the 50m mark.  Bruree Boy turned his head to the inside approaching the winning post.

Bruree Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6 and was found to have injuries to the left hip and the right monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Edmund Dollery, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Bruree Boy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Dollery pleaded guilty to the charge, Bruree Boy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (7) Steward Miss Demi Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Blue Cigar and Sam I'm Mikado were slow to begin.

Dreamliner, My Diamond Girl and Buddy's Entity collided at the 300m mark.  Dreamliner and Buddy's Entity collided at the 250m mark.  Buddy's Entity and Sam I'm Mikado collided approaching the 200m mark.  Dreamliner checked off Buddy's Entity approaching the 200m mark and crossed to the outside.  

Trapezius – New declared weight of 34.0kg, last raced at 32.1kg.

Owlette – New declared weight of 28.0kg, last raced at 26.9kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Owlette.

Owlette and Deep Blue collided soon after the start checking Owlette and Boomer Blitz.  Trapezius and Triceps Brachii collided approaching the 250m mark.  Trapezius crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark checking Triceps Brachii, Boomer Blitz and Owlette.

A pre-race sample was taken from She's My Blast.

Jumbo Bale crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.  Renegade checked off Goorawin at the 250m mark.  Jumbo Bale and Topaz Warrior collided at the 200m mark.

This event was rescheduled to 1:51pm due to Ballina thoroughbreds being abandoned.

Navy Storm and Chloe Crumpet collided soon after the start.  New England, Chloe Crumpet and Rhino Rex collided approaching the 300m mark.  New England and Rhino Rex collided several times from the 200m mark to 150m mark checking New England.

I'm The Goat was slow to begin.

I'm The Goat and Tiger Seventeen collided soon after the start.  I'm The Goat crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark checking Tiger Seventeen and Aston Vino.

A post-race sample was taken from Silver Sultan - the winner of the event.

Cheeky Bumpa – Late scratching at 10:59am due to non-arrival (GAR 31).  Mr John Paterson informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Mr Paterson that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

Horey's Prince and Allanon were quick to begin.  Tex Ribs were slow to begin.

Just Over checked off Tex Ribs at the 150m mark.  

Mr Joe Uglietta failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Further Dreamer for racing.  Mr Uglietta was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Soda Geoff and Further Dreamer were slow to begin.

Meehan Deano crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Hard Boiled.  Oliver Cruise and Hard Boiled collided approaching the 50m mark.  Hard Boiled and Chardy collided at the 50m mark.

Raven Paws – New declared weight of 27.2kg, last raced at 26.0kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cullquin Bomber.

Major Nippa was slow to begin.

Poison Pen crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Major Nippa.  Midnight Muscat and Major Nippa collided approaching the 150m mark checking both greyhounds.  Midnight Muscat and Major Nippa collided at the 100m mark checking Midnight Muscat.

Wild Vane – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Healesville for Fail to Chase. Weighing 28.3kg and beginning from box 1, Wild Vane completed the 300m trial distance in a time of 17.429. Wild Vane placed 2nd in a field of 4 starters beaten by 4.25 lengths. Wild Vane has been cleared to race at all tracks.  

Seaton Star – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Warragul for Fail to Chase and connections wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound. Weighing 28.6kg and beginning from box 3, Seaton Star completed the 300m trial distance in a time of 17.126. Seation Star placed 1st in a field of 4 starters winning by 4.25 lengths. Seaton Star has been cleared to race in blinkers at Healesville. 

Another Spence – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Warragul for Unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 31.6kg and beginning from box 7, Another Spence completed the 300m trial distance in a time of 17.868. Another Spence placed 4th in a field of 4 starters beaten by 10.5 lengths. Another Spence has been cleared to race at Healesville.
