Tat James was quick to begin.
Tat James and Slingshot Storm collided approaching the first turn checking Slingshot Storm. Tat James, Trophy Trophy and Slingshot Storm collided on the first turn checking Dirty Max severely checking Tat James and Militant Mack. Don't Tell Pappa checked off Dirty Max on the first turn causing Don't Tell Papa to brush the running rail and lose ground as a result. Trophy Trophy and SlingShot Storm collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Militant Mack raced wide on the home turn. Trophy Trophy and Slingshot Storm collided entering the home straight.
Militant Mack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a dislocated toe to the left foreleg. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
