Chill Out Digby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind metatarsal region. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Greysynd Spark underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a toe injury and an abrasion to the right hind metatarsal region. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Julie Chillcott, the handler of Chill Out Digby regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Chill Out Digby was charged with marring. Mrs Julie Chillcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Chill Out Digby is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

The following greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 390m with four greyhounds required to trial. The winning time of trial was 22.69: Jye Licious finished 2nd, Stinging Red finished 3rd, Big Barra finished 5th.

Jye Licious – Was stood down from racing at Shepparton for Failing to Chase due to Injury. Weighing 31.0kg and beginning from box 4 beaten by 5 lengths. Jye Licious has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Stinging Red – Was stood down from racing at Healesville for Failing to Chase. Weighing 32.5kg and beginning from box 6 beaten by 5.25 lengths. Stinging Red has been cleared to race all tracks except Healesville.

Big Barra – Was stood down from racing at Shepparton for Failing To Chase. Weighing 33.7kg and beginning from box 8 beaten by 6.25 lengths. Big Barra has been cleared to race at all tracks.
