Steward's Report
Bernmar Cheeky – Late scratching at 8:54am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). Mr Peter Borradale informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. No stand down period was imposed as a mechanical certificate was supplied to Stewards.

Global Gem and Patient Panda were slow to begin.
Bushranger Boy visibly eased approaching the winning post. Cracked Pepper and Patient Panda collided approaching the winning post.
Bushranger Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a mild laceration to the right hock, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Ian Anderson, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Bushranger Boy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Anderson pleaded guilty to the charge, Bushranger Boy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Due to a technical malfunction the semaphore board displayed Race 3 instead of Race 2 for this event. All placings, margins and time were not affected.
