Steward's Report

Ruth's Girl - Late scratching at 11:10am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to left hock injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Subscapularis was slow to begin.

Superstar Jessie, Aston Truffle and Tennyson Girl collided at the 250m mark checking Tennyson Girl and Bombora Comet; causing Aston Truffle to fall as a result.

Bombora Comet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the left hind leg and spike wounds to the left foreleg. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Truffle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Space Alert - the winner of the event.
