Noonbarra Jack and Where's Success collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Noonbarra Jack and Our Magic Turbo collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Noonbarra Jack and Where's Success collided at the 300m mark checking Where's Success and Our Magic Turbo and severely checking Noonbarra Jack. Miss Booming crossed to the rail at the 300m mark checking Arashundi and Our Magic Turbo and severely checking Lektra Elsa. Lektra Elsa and Arashundi collided approaching the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Lektra Elsa and Arashundi raced wide at the 150m mark. Jasper Beardly and Die Laughing collided at the 150m mark.
Die Laughing underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to the Mr J. Magri, the trainer of Die Laughing, and issued a warning regarding the greyhound’s race manners at the 150m mark.
