Grab That Earn was slow to begin. Double Supreme, Velocity Hope and Segovia's Dream collided soon after the start checking Double Supreme. Almani Tyson, Victor Leone and Lakeview Monique collided approaching the first turn severely checking Almani Tyson which contacted the running rail. Grab That Earn and Lakeview Monique collided on the first turn. Velocity Hope and Victor Leone collided in the home straight.
Almani Tyson underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
