Steward's Report
Terrah Round was quick to begin. On Degoey was slow to begin.
Woodleigh Sal and Aston Ronaldo collided soon after the start. Aston Ronaldo and Tennyson Girl collided on the first turn. Tennyson Girl and On Degoey collided approaching the home turn. Lucky Gypsy and Terrah Around collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Lucky Gypsy failed to persue the lure with due comittment in the home straight.
Lucky Gypsy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr S. Jack the trainer regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Lucky Gypsy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Jack pleaded guilty to the charge, Lucky Gypsy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
