Galloping Nikki underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg metacarpal fracture. A 60 stand down period was imposed.

Blazing Sword and Aston Klara were slow to begin.

Aston Klara crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Blazing Sword and Zipping Dozer collided at the 300m mark.  Alter Ego, Blazing Sword, Zipping Dozer and Aston Klara collided approaching the 250m mark checking Alter Ego.  Alter Ego crossed to the outside at the 200m mark.  Blazing Sword and Zipping Dozer collided approaching the winning post checking Blazing Sword.

Miss Hanna Berry was quick to begin.

Jupiter Asending crossed to the outside at the 300m mark.  Jupiter Asending checked off French Defence approaching the 200m mark.  Peaked checked off Cozi Fitz at the 100m mark.  

Bomardier King underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race after the greyhound momentarily slipped the lead in the kennel area.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Schwarz, the Trainer/Handler of Bombardier King and issued him with a warning after he failed to have proper control of the greyhound in the kennel area GAR 27(1).

Olivia's Pearl was slow to begin.

Bombardier King and Tinker Buzz collided soon after the start.  Nice Surprise and Moyarra Fantasy collided soon after the start.  Bombardier King checked off Tinker Buzz approaching the 300m mark and crossed to the outside.  Moyarra Fantasy checked off Tinker Buzz approaching the 250m mark.  Nice Surprise and Olivia's Pearl collided at the 150m mark.  Nice Surprise checked off Taking Off approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Schwarz, the Trainer/Handler of Bombardier King and issued him with a warning after he failed to box the greyhound in a timely manner when asked by the starter GAR 51(9).

Jack Skywalker – Proved difficult to box, will be boxed first in future events. 

Dee Jakit was slow to begin.

Jack Skywalker checked off Aston Xanadu at the 200m mark checking Aston Xanadu.  Jack Skywalker, Black In Town and Mt. View Gift collided at the 150m mark.  Fargo Victorem eased approaching the 50m mark and lost considerable ground.  

Fargo Victorem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and after being re-vetted following event 11, was found to have right wrist injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr R. Gray, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Fargo Victorem was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Gray pleaded not guilty to the charge, Fargo Victorem was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zade's Magic and Bullocky Bill collided soon after the start.  Zade's Magic and Facts Don't Lie collided approaching the 250m mark.  Bullocky Bill and Facts Don't Lie collided at the 100m mark.  

Dashing Diamond underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion next to the left eye.  A 3 stand down period was imposed.

Tobias Kelton – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a spell.  New declared weight of 36.2kg, last raced at 37.3kg.

Scott Muscle – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a right hind toe injury.  New declared weight of 37.8kg, last raced at 36.6kg.

Scott Muscle and Tobias Kelton collided soon after the start.  Ace Victorem checked off Silvagni Cubed at the 250m mark.  Young Rachel checked off Midnight Muscat at the 50m mark checking Scott Muscle and Silvagni Cube.  Aston Boss lost ground throughout the event.

Aston Boss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left nostril. A 3 stand down period was imposed.
