A sample was taken from Mini Dozer upon arrival at the course.
Five Lights - New declared weight of 32.5kg, last raced at 31.0kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Looking Down.
Mini Dozer was quick to begin. Why Not Senor was slow to begin.
Farfalla Nera and Why Not Senor collided approaching the first turn. Looking Down checked off Soap approaching the first turn. Five Lights crossed to the rail on the first tun causing Why Not Senor to stumble and lose considerable ground, It's Debatable, Mini Dozer and Soap checked as a result. Farfalla Nera checked off Looking Down entering the home straight.
Why Not Senor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury and an abrasion to the right hind foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
