Steward's Report
Wolf Point and Gunmetal Liam collided soon after the start.
Penny Worth and Cinnamon Rose collided on the first turn checking Penny Worth. Bigtime Bruce, Atlantic Jewel and Spolly James collided approaching the home turn. Wolf Point, Gunmetal Liam and Spolly James collided entering the home straight.
Bigtime Bruce was vetted following a fall in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small abrasion to the left metatarsus. No stand down period was imposed.
Penny Worth was vetted following the event, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Willoughby the representative of Penny Worth regarding the greyhounds performance. Mr Willoughby stated that the greyhound received interference throughout the event and that the greyhound was short priced favourite based on the its last two starts. Stewards noted Mr Willoughbys explanation and took no further action.
