Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr G.Webb, the trainer of Classy Fernando regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Classy Fernando last raced on 9 November, 2018. Mr Webb stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after an achilles injury.
The start of this race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to holding for a harness race at Redcliffe.
Kid Lavros was slow to begin. Space Alert, Classy Fernando and Cindy's Mate collided soon after the start checking Classy Fernando. Classy Fernando, Spolly's Jet and Kid Lavros collided approachig the first turn checking Spolly's Jet. Custom Made and Space Alert collided on the first turn. Classy Fernando and Kraken Tan collided on the first turn checking Kraken Tan. Classy Fernando and Cindy's Mate collided approaching the winning post. Spolly's Jet clipped the heels of Kid Lavros approaching the winning post.
