A pre-race sample was taken from Nimble Nala.
A sample was taken from Lonesome Sam upon arrival at the course.
Golden Aura was slow to begin. Golden Aura and Lonesome Sam collided approaching the first turn checking Lonesome Sam which brushed the running rail as a result. Golden Aura and Burrawonga Miss collided on the home turn. Saucy Sav and Wild Bandit collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
Lonesome Sam underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right flexor tendon. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Wild Bandit underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the medial toe on the right foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
