In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 27 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.9 degrees. 

The start of this race was delayed by 1 minute 30 seconds and move to Sky2 due to the late arrival at the boxes.

Grace Intention and Zipping Magda collided soon after the start. Rough Surface checked off Spyglass soon after the start. Oriental Ollie and Zipping Magda collided approaching the first turn. Rough Surface lost ground approaching the home turn. Spyglass checked off Crackerjack Gas in the home straight.

Zipping Magda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind toe inury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Rough Surface underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4 and was found to have an abrasion on the right hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Cool Flow was quick to begin. Cool Flow and Kelli Pochette collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Super Suzie Que clipped the heels of Cool Flow on the home turn checking Super Suzie Que.

Badelaide Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination after escaping the catching pen and no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Hall regarding the performance of Badelaide Road after escaping the catching pen.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Badelaide Road must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Brave Hearted was slow to begin. Zipping Dodge and Wendy Maria collided on the first turn. Mayhem Dream and Kid Lavros collided entering the back straight. Wendy Maria and Tekidanto collided on the second turn checking Wendy Maria. Wendy Maria and Dusty Lace collided approaching the home turn. Kid Lavros clipped the heels of I'm Easy Boys entering the home straight severely checking Mayhem Dream and Brave Hearted causing Kid Lavros to fall.

Mayhem Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Kid Lavros underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury, abrasions to both hind paws and bruising over thighs and hind legs. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Too Easy Jack was slow to begin. Refuled and Blackpool Ace collided soon after the start. Too Easy Jack and Ebby's Plan collided approaching the first turn. Ebby's Plan, Blackpool Ace and Too Easy Jack collided on the first turn checking Too Easy Jack. Too Easy Jack and Blackpool Ace collided approaching the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Kerro.

Agent Que, Dyna Kerro and Oshkosh Jay collided on the first turn checking Agent Que. Dyna Kerro and All Bling collided entering the back straight and again approaching the second turn. Agent Que, Dyna Kerro, All Bling and Ivalise Allen collided on the second turn checking Dyna Kerro and severely checking All Bling.

All Bling underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have minor injuries to the outside hind leg and right hind paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Cullquin Cersei - Late scratching at 9:01am by Order Of Stewards.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Lonesome Spring was slow to begin. Rocket Ruby and Rube's Ablaze collided approaching the first turn. Amigo One and Nebi collided approaching the first turn checking Amigo One. Amigo One and Hello Cobber collided on the first turn checking Amigo One. Lonesome Spring raced wide entering the home straight. Rube's Ablaze and Jackie Jai collided in the home straight.

Lily The Weapon and Miss Travers collided soon after the start. Lily The Weapon and Stylish Chief collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Clover Lad and Chrissy Pee collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Clover Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and an abrasion to the left stopper pad. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Jagger and Kraken Pennys were quick to begin.

Valletta Sky and Our Turbo Girl collided soon after the start and again on the first turn. Valletta Sky galloped on the heels of Our Turbo Girl approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Clovalley Mauri and Red Neck Miss collided on the home turn. Valletta Sky underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be found.

Our Turbo Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds on both hind paws. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Kraken Pennys.

Black Ice - Late scratching at 1:23pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian due to a left fore paw abrasion. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms. A. Scott regarding her failure to provide a catcher at the catching pen to retrieve the greyhound Kraken Tan pursuant to GAR 48. 

Crackerjack Roy was quick to begin.

Awesome Freckles and Theme Tune collided on the first turn. Honestly Bob, Emgee Sprinter and Waikiki Creek collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Honestly Bob and Emgee Sprinter. Waikiki Creek clipped the heels of Theme Tune in the home straight checking Theme Tune.

Honestly Bob underwent a post-race veterinary examination andwas found to have a spike wound above the right hind toes. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Krisbar Blue Fox.

Krisbar Blue Fox was quick to begin.

Krisbar Blue Fox and Nitro Nicole collided approaching the first turn. Fred's My Name and Clovalley Rang collided approaching the home turn checking Clovalley Rang which lost ground. Nitro Nicole and Call Me Bubbles collided on the home turn. 

Clovalley Rang underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left stopper. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
