Steward's Report
This race meeting was deemed hot weather affected.
When Stewards arrived on course the outside temperature was 34.5 degrees - the kennel temperature was 19.4 degrees. At the close of kennelling the outside temperature was 28.8 degrees - the kennel temperature was 20 degrees. Prior to the running of this event the outside temperature was recorded as 28.3 degrees. The kennel temperature was recorded as 20 degrees.
Virage De Kahn was a late scratching at 9:51am after the trainer Mr I. Dann became aware that the greyhound had not been scratched. Mr Dann stated that he attempted to scratch the greyhound this morning however this was not recognised by Fasttrack. Mr Dann provided appropriate evidence to Stewards and as such no penalties were issued.
A pre-race sample was taken from Got No Issues.
On Degoey was slow to begin.
