Steward's Report
Akut was slow to begin.
Rube's Ablaze, Jack's On Deck and Spring Shower collided soon after the start. Rube's Ablaze, Jack's On Deck and Akut collided approaching the first turn. Our Turbo Girl and Spring Shower collided on the first turn. Jack's On Deck galloped on the heels of Akut on the home turn checking Jack's On Deck and severely checking Akut which stumbled as a result.
Akut was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right rear foot. No stand down period was imposed.
