Ms M.Shaw, trainer of Londyn's Choice declared a new weight of 27.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Londyn's Choice last raced at 25.9kg.

Mr S. Waycott, trainer of Western Bomber declared a new weight of 36.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Western Bomber last raced at 37.1kg.

Kehestto was quick to begin. Western Bomber was slow to begin. Happy Cruising and Kehestto collided on the first turn checking Happy Cruising, Western Bomber and Tennyson Flyer. Slanter and Western Bomber collided on the home turn. Happy Cruising and Western Bomber collided entering the home straight.

Nicmac Paddywack was quick to begin. Tat Chloe was slow to begin. Burrawonga Girl and Chill Out Isla collided soon after the start. Crazy Storm eased on the first turn. Tat Chloe and Chill Out Isla collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.

Crazy Storm was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there were was no apparent injury sustained.

Stewards spoke to Mr V. Mileto, the trainer of the greyhound Crazy Storm regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Crazy Storm with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Mileto pleaded Guilty to the charge, Crazy Storm was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kraken Mazing was a late scratching at 6.24pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to being on season. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Double Mist trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 27.9kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.78, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 1 length. Double Mist was Not Cleared.
