A pre-race sample was taken from On Billy's Wings.
Ms. Kate Jackson, trainer of St. Regis declared a new weight of 34.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). St. Regis last raced at 35.9kg.
Dum Didee Dum was a late scratching at 1:56 PM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms. B. Kinder was fined the sum of $100.
St. Regis and Pinciotti were slow to begin. On Billy's Wings and White Ambush collided approaching the first turn. St. Regis and Chrissy Pee collided on the first turn and approaching the home turn. Bakali Louis and Pinciotti collided on the home turn checking Bakali Louis.
St. Regis was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
