Air Commander and Ursula Allen were quick to begin. Kintamani and Almani Jet were slow to begin.
Aston Ranza and Almani Jet collided soon after the start. Aston Ranza checked off Almani Jet on the first turn. Air Commander and Almani Jet collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Almani Jet and Dewana Hand. Almani Jet checked off Kintamani on the second turn checking Almani Jet and Dewana Hand resulting in Dewana Hand racing wide. Aston Ranza checked off Air Commander entering the back straight. Almani Jet checked off Aston Ranza on the third turn and raced wide checking Dewana Hand which was forced wide.
