Steward's Report
Tat Ox was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Judge Judy was slow to begin. Larrikan Bozzie, Sneaky Pickle and Blazin' Bulla collided approaching the first turn. Judge Judy, Blazin Bulla and Sneaky Pickle collided on the first turn checking Judge Judy. Tat Ox and Judge Judy collided entering the home straight. Blazin' Bulla and Judge Judy collided entering the home straight. Sneaky Pickle eased and collided with the Yandi entering the home straight and in the home staright. Sneaky Pickle and Aqualite collided approaching the post.
Sneaky Pickle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Debattista, representative of the greyhound Judge Judy regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering and in the home straight. Judge Judy was re-vetted following Race 10. It was reported that the greyhound sustained swelling to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Judge Judy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Debattisita pleaded guilty to the charge, Judge Judy was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
