Scarecrow Tiger was slow to begin. Proven Chat, Miss Booming and All Inn Together collided soon after the start. Miss Booming, Melissa Lee and Scarecrow Tiger collided approaching the first turn. Scarecrow Tiger and Melissa Lee collided on the first turn. Miss Booming, Proven Chat and Oshkosh Jay collided on the first turn. Oshkosh Jay and Proven Chat collided approaching the home turn. Scarecrow Tiger and Melissa Lee collided entering the home straight. Melissa Lee faltered in the home straight and tailed off.
Melissa Lee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
