Kiewa River Run, Happy Cruising and Ko Mai Si were quick to begin. Janray Rastus and Burrawonga Girl were slow to begin. Dee Jakit and Janray Rastus collided soon after the start. Happy Cruising, Ko Mai Si and Dyna Kerro collided approaching the first turn checking Ko Mai Si. Janray Rastus and Dee Jakit collided on the first turn. Shakey Ellie and Happy Cruising collided approaching the home turn. Happy Cruising and Dee Jakit collided in the home straight. Janray Rastus raced wide in the home straight.
