Whodat Magic was slow to begin. Dr. Luvdisc, Walk Woody Walk and Fairy Where collied approaching the first turn. Dr. Luvdisc galloped on Fairy Where on the second turn checking Fairy Where. Dr. Luvdisc and Walk Woody Walk collided approaching the home turn. Fairy Where was checked off Walk Woody Walk approaching the home turn. Hit 'N' Split and Jonny Bravo collided approaching the home turn. Jonny Bravo and All About Arby collided on the home turn.
Hit 'N' Split was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Whodat Magic was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 9, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Formosa, the representative for Hit 'N' Split regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages. Mr Formosa stated that since returning to racing the greyhound has failed to run a strong 395m and may be better suited to a shorter journey.
