A pre-race sample was taken from Go Go Pipsqueak.
Go Go Pipsqueak was quick to begin. Ballistic Gem was slow to begin. Go Go Pipsqueak faltered on the second turn and lost ground colliding with Bela Natali checking Bela Natali and Ballistic Gem, Go Go Pipsqueak subsequently tailed off. Ballistic Gem faltered on the home turn and subsequently tailed off.
Go Go Pipsqueak was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained severe multiple fractures of the left hock and was humanely euthanased.
