Mr. T. Salpigtidis the trainer of Spritely Star declared a new weight of 25.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Spritely Star last raced at 24.1kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Lord Davinci.
Fairytale Ending was slow to begin. No Sugar, Spritely Star and Lord Davinci collided soon after the start checking Spritely Star. Spritely Star, Fairytale Ending and Sheza Dragon collided on the first turn severely checking Sheza Dragon. Spritely Star was checked off Extra Kisses approaching the home turn.
