The start time for this event was delayed by approximately two minutes due to a miscommunication with SKY Channel.
Smash Flash was slow to begin.
Reid Star checked off Dream Future approaching the first turn. Angel Dash and Dream Future collided on the first turn, severely checking Angel Dash. Zebo Bale, Smash Flash and Angel Dash collided approaching the home turn, checking Smash Flash and Angel Dash. Angel Dash checked off Smash Flash on the home turn.
Angel Dash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left gracilis (back) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
