Ace Cruising and Pandora's Comet collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Ace Cruising, which contacted the running rail as a result. Tekidanto and Banknote raced wide on the home turn. Lacarabine and Limburg Sprite collided in the home straight. 

Ace Cruising was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left side of the face, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Tekidanto was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

I'm Tipping Don was quick to begin. Limburg Magic and Pius Thicknesse collided soon after the start. Limburg Magic brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Deadly Basilisa checked off My Boy Joey soon after the start, checking Deadly Basilisa. Pius Thicknesse checked off Deadly Basilisa approaching the first turn, checking Pius Thicknesse. Cruising Betty and Stevie Jane collided on the first turn, checking Cruising Betty and Pius Thicknesse. Cruising Betty raced wide on the home turn. Pius Thicknesse and Stevie Jane collided entering the home straight, and again in the home straight. 

Mr. Joshua Formosa, handler of Flash Apollo declared a new weight of 32.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Flash Apollo last raced at 31.7kg.

Riverina Miss was quick to begin. Wolf Point was slow to begin. Swift Trent, Succession Plan, Loroupe, Malick and Luke Roman collided approaching the first turn, checking Succession Plan and Malick. Luke Roman checked off Loroupe approaching the home turn. Wolf Point checked off Luke Roman on the home turn. Loroupe raced wide on the home turn. Succession Plan, Luke Roman and Wolf Point collided on the home turn. Malick veered out and marred the running of Succession Plan on several occasions in the home straight. Riverina Miss tired over the concluding stages of the event. 

Malick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr. Joshua Formosa, the representative of the greyhound Malick regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Malick with marring. Mr. Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge. Malick was found guilty as charged and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. Joshua Formosa, the representative of Gunmetal Liam, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the finishing line.

Dashing Dyson was slow to begin. Zipping Riot and Taylor Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Taylor Bale. Bee Rose checked off Cruising Stella on the first turn. Bee Rose and Renaldo raced wide on the home turn. 

Wackadooka and Riverdale Paddy were slow to begin. No Secrets and Stockwhip Sally collided soon after the start, checking Stockwhip Sally. No Secrets and Princess Parker collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Princess Parker. Riverdale Paddy and Princess Parker collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Stockwhip Sally checked off Princes Parker on the home turn, and raced wide as a result. Riverdale Paddy checked off Wackadooka in the home straight.

Capo checked off the heels of Zenstar on the first turn. Inga Ted checked off the heels of Zenstar on the first turn. Capo, Inga Ted, Aston Veloci, Eureka Osti, Zuberi and Melissa Lee collided heavily on the first turn, severely checking Melissa Lee and causing Eureka Osti to fall. Capo shifted out approaching the home turn, and raced wide. 

Eureka Osti was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Melissa Lee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
