Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Stephen Whybrow, the representitive of Claretown Boris regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Claretown Boris last raced on 8 June, 2018. Mr Whybrow stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after spider bite to the shoulder.
Twilight Liason was quick to begin. Senni Richard, Claretown Boris and Our Mojo collided soon after the start checking Our Mojo and Claretown Boris. Emerley Mee Too, Cozi Fitz and Senni Richard collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Cozi Fitz which tailed off. Twilight Liason and Emerley Mee Too collided on the first turn. Emerley Mee Too raced wide in the home straight. Claretown Boris and All Inn Johnson collided in the home straight.
Cozi Fitz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hock, injuries to the right wrist and right hock, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Meeting Comments:
Broulee Miss trialled over the 390m from Box 4, weight 30.1kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.53, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.025. Broulee Miss was cleared.
