Janray Warrior was a late scratching at 6:19pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr T.Duncan trainer of Al lnn Jye declared a new weight of 34.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). All Inn Jye last raced at 36.0kg.

Gunai Whisper was quick to begin.  Golden Moon and Ultimate Tank collided approaching the first turn.  Kraken Doll and Straaljager collided approaching the first turn.  Janray Rastus, Straaljager and Ultimate Tank collided approaching the first turn checking Janray Rastus and Ultimate Tank.  Janray Rastus, Ultimate Tank and All Inn Jye collided on the first turn, severely checking Janray Rastus, causing All Inn Jye to fall.

All Inn Jye was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mashika was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Junior Express and Mashika collided soon after the start.  Mashika and Sugar Bear collided approaching the first turn checking Mashika.  Sugar Bear, Banjo Fozz and Lily The Weapon collided on the first turn checking Banjo Fozz, severely checking Sugar Bear.  Prue Lace and All inn Tyler collided on the home turn checking Prue Lace.  Sugar Bear raced wide in the home straight.

Junior Express was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left fore paw, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Winlock Tabatha was quick to begin.  Rocky Road and Scarecrow Tiger collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Miss Flower and Tat Tubby collided approaching the home turn.

Miss Flower was vetted following the event.  The greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Semantic Shift, Hua Hin, Tat Kyla and Surfside Squids collided approaching the first turn.  Better Way and Semantic Shift collided approaching the first turn.  Ballistic Gem and Surfside Squids collided on the first turn.  Better Way and Tat Kyla collided approaching the home turn.  Surfside Squids faltered on the home turn and tailed off.

Surfside Squids was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a break to the right hock and was humanely euthanased.

Mr K.Bentley handler of Jack's On Deck declared a new weight of 31.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jack's On Deck last raced at 30.5kg.

A pre race sample was taken from Parsnip.

All Inn Tara was quick to begin.  Tat Barbie was slow to begin.  Foxy Whip and Jack's On Deck collided approaching the first turn.  All Inn Together and Wild Sticks collided approaching the home turn.  Parsnip faltered approaching the winning post.

Parsnip was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and left shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Dark Tyde.

Moon Phase and Dark Tyde collided soon after the start.  Launch Time and Aston Jagger collided soon after the start checking Aston Jagger.  Zharnel, Launch Time and Scott Confused collided on the first turn.  Launch Time galloped on the heels of Zharnel approaching the home turn, severely checking Aston Jagger and causing Zharnel to fall.  Shaina Cabang and Scott Confused collided on the home turn.

Zharnel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Mia Amour was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Fabulous Show was slow to begin.  Scott Muscle, I'm Electric and Rockin' In collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  I'm Electric and Scott Muscle collided on the first turn.  Merl's Angel and Rockin' In collided approaching the home turn checking Rockin' In.

Stewards spoke to Mr Stephen Whybrow, the representitive of Claretown Boris regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Claretown Boris last raced on 8 June, 2018. Mr Whybrow stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after spider bite to the shoulder.

Twilight Liason was quick to begin.  Senni Richard, Claretown Boris and Our Mojo collided soon after the start checking Our Mojo and Claretown Boris.  Emerley Mee Too, Cozi Fitz and Senni Richard collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Cozi Fitz which tailed off.  Twilight Liason and Emerley Mee Too collided on the first turn.  Emerley Mee Too raced wide in the home straight.  Claretown Boris and All Inn Johnson collided in the home straight.

Cozi Fitz was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hock, injuries to the right wrist and right hock, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Comments:

Broulee Miss trialled over the 390m from Box 4, weight 30.1kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was  22.53, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.025.  Broulee Miss was cleared.
