A pre-race sample was taken from Rosta Power.
Eye Owe You and Fabredust collided soon after the start checking Eye Owe You. Macalister Cindy, Shargre and Prince Ferno collided approaching the first turn. Shargre galloped on Prince Ferno on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds and checking Macalister Cindy, Prince Ferno lost ground and tailed off as a result. Macalister Cindy raced wide approaching the home turn and on the home turn.
Shagre was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
