Steward's Report
Bletchley and Annie Bell collided soon after the start checking Annie Bell. Solar Mocha and Powerful Senor collided approaching the first turn. Bletchley and Striking Gold collided approaching the first turn checking Bletchley. Belena Bold and Soeztec collided on the first turn checking Belena Bold. Powerful Senor eased on the first turn and lost ground. Bletchley raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Blake, the owner of the greyhound Powerful Senor regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Powerful Senor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triangles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Powerful Senor with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Blake pleaded guilty to the charge, Powerful Senor was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
