Northern Bowler and Little Sidey collided soon after the start. Kubla De Kahn, Northern Bowler, Little Sidey and Mr. Long collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Northern Bowler and Little Sidey. Aston Sultan and Mia Amour collided approaching the home turn. Northern Bowler and Little Sidey collided in the home straight. Mr. Long lost ground in the home straight.
Mr. Long was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both flexor tendons and the right sesamoid. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
