Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms J. Power, the representative of Tippa Power regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tippa Power last raced on 18 Apr 18. Ms Power stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left stopper injury. Ms Power declared a new weight of 31.6 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tippa Power last raced at 32.8 kgs.
Latissimus Dorsi was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Miami Fernando, Pandora's Galaxy and Eggeb Mai collided approaching the first turn, checking Eggeb Mai and Comets Gold. Pandora's Galaxy checked off the heels of Tippa Power on the first turn. Eggeb Mai and Latissimus Dorsi collided on the home turn, causing both greyhounds to race wide. Comets Gold raced wide on the home turn. Latissimus Dorsi and Eggeb Mai collided in the home straight.
Tippa Power was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
