Takaho Tiger was a late scratching at 1.56pm by order of Stewards (non penalty) pursuant to GAR 20 (4) (b).
A pre-race sample was taken from Fifty Dollar, upon arrival on course prior to kennelling.
Fabulous Gee was quick to begin. Garrido, Giant Bale and Zebo Bale collided soon after the start. Jacey Allen, Fifty Dollar and Garrido collided on the first turn. Fabulous Gee and Fifty Dollar collided entering the back straight. Fifty Dollar and Ends Well collided entering the back straight. Zebo Bale and Giant Bale collided entering the back straight. Fifty Dollar and Zebo Bale collided in the back straight. Fabulous Gee and Garrido collided on the third turn. Fifty Dollar was checked off Fabulous Gee on the home turn. Zebo Bale and Fifty Dollar collided in the home straight. Jacey Allen and Ends Well collided in the home straight.
Garrido was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right front foot, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
