Polly's Nigel was a late scratching at 6:32pm due to non arrival (GAR31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Jaimandy Joyce was quick to begin. Cullquin Cersei was slow to begin. Tomal and Apache Oasis collided soon after the start. Onya Prankstar and Diamond Heart collided soon after the start. Onya Prankstar and Cullquin Cersei collided approaching the first turn. Apache Oasis eased approaching the first turn. Onya Prankstar and Cullquin Cersei collided approaching the home turn. Onya Prankstar and Premier Back collided in the home straight.
Apache Oasis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an inury to the right wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr S. Stefanos, Trainer of Apache Oasis. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Apache Oasis with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Stefanos pleaded guilty to the charge, Apache Oasis was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
