Wendy Maria was quick to begin. Northern Bowler was slow to begin. Bombastic Trixie, Janray Spot and Husky Beatle collided soon after the start checking Janray Spot. Bombastic Trixie and Madonya collided approaching the first turn checking Bombastic Trixie. Kiewa River Run checked off Madonya in the home straight.
Kiewa River Run was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle and right groin, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
