A pre-race sample was taken from Dreamliner.
Enhanced Power was quick to begin. Start From Zero and Dreamliner were slow to begin. St. Leo and Daisy Me Diggin' collided approaching the first turn checking Daisy Me Diggin' causing St. Leo to collide with Stealthy Flight checking Stealthy Flight and causing Casper's Fantasy to fall. Goldie's Nugget was checked off Stealthy Flight in the back straight. Start From Zero and Daisy Me Diggin' collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Enhanced Power shifted out on the second turn. Goldie's Nugget was checked off Stealthy Flight approaching the home turn.
Casper's Fantasy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured neck and right and left thigh, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
