Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Cullen, the representative of Big Bang Tears regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Big Bang Tears last raced on 2nd March 2018. Mr. Cullen stated that the greyhound is returning to race following a hock injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Xtreme Purpose.
Gin Lee's Bullet was slow to begin. Labuan Starfish, Dyna Denver and Gaza's Rooster collided soon after the start checking Labuan Starfish and Gaza's Rooster. Big Bang Tears raced wide in the home straight.
