A pre-race sample was taken from All Inn Misshap.
Little Red Hot and Main One were slow to begin.
All Inn Misshap and Campeon collided soon after the start, checking Campeon. Little Red Hot and Main One collided soon after the start, checking Main One. All Inn Misshap checked off Campeon on the first turn. All Inn Misshap raced wide on the first turn, checking Main One. Little Red Hot checked off Campeon approaching the home turn, checking All Inn Misshap. Campeon and Little Red Hot collided approaching the winning post. Disco Lemonade trailed the field throughout the event.
Little Red Hot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left pencil injury and a spike wound to the left hind leg. A seven stand down period was imposed.
