Dodge An' Steele and Hornet Hudson collided on the first turn, severely checking Hornet Hudson which became unbalanced for a number of strides and lost considerable ground. Bank Rogue checked off My Mandara entering the home straight. 

Hornet Hudson underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. Hornet Hudson was revetted and was found to sustain an abrasion above the nose. No stand down period was applied.
