EXHIBITION TRIAL - SPEED STAR

Embye - Performed an exhibition trial over the 715mtrs from box 3, weighing 35.1kgs in a time of 1st split (6.20), 2nd split (15.75), 3rd split (30.25) overall time (41.565). A sample was taken prior to the greyhound trialling. 

Quip Allen was slow to begin.

Lonnie Mach and Miss Innings collided soon after the start.  Lonnie Mach and Quip Allen collided on the second turn.  Ash Star checked off Quip Allen entering the back straight.  Start A Riot checked off Miss Innings on the home turn, Start A Riot raced wide as a result.  Lonnie Mach and Miss Innings collided in the home straight.

Weeona Bulldozer and Chill Out Webby were slow to begin.

Chill Out Webby checked off Weeona Roger soon after the start.  Weeona Roger and Shady Thief collided approaching the first turn.  Jokare crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Aston Valetta, Weeona Wilbur, Jokare and Shady Thief causing Aston Valetta to fall, Jokare and Shady Thief to stumble and lose ground as a result.  Solid Bling and Weeona Roger collided entering the home straight.  

Aston Valetta underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Jokare underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sesamoid, left wrist sprain and right deltoid injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Shady Thief underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sesamoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Divirgilio regarding an incident which was reported to stewards that occurred in the wash bay following race 6. After taking into account Mr Divirgilio's evidence and version of events, stewards took no further action in relation to the incident.

Valencia Gem crossed to rail soon after the start checking Blistering Betty, Okay Kirsty, Mimstar and New Samsation.  New Samsation and Mimstar collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Alexia and Kiss Me Nicki collided on the first turn.  Mimstar checked off New Samsation entering the back straight.  Okay Kirsty eased and tailed off in the back straight.  Mimstar checked off New Samsation approaching the home turn.  Kiss Me Nicki and Blistering Betty collided entering the home straight.

Okay Kirsty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid and left triangle injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr R. Floyd, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Okay Kirsty was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Floyd pleaded not guilty to the charge, Okay Kirsty was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bingo Boon and Dyna Xerox were slow to begin.  Faraday was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
