Steward's Report
Lightning Roger and Zambora Tara were slow to begin. Fearsome Ally checked off Oriental Tiger approaching the first turn. Classy Blaze, Crackerjack Koby and Close To Carnage collided on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Koby and Close To Carnage. Zambora Tara galloped on Close To Carnage approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Oriental Tiger checked off Crackerjack Koby approaching the home turn, checking Lightning Roger.
Close To Carnage underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Fearsome Ally - the winner of the event.
