Mrs J. Torr the trainer of Railway Burra requested that the greyhound undergo a post-race veterinary examination, it was found to have a spike wound to the left hind. No stand down period was imposed.

Chief Command – Late scratching at 7.33am when Mr A. Barbara reported the greyhound to have an injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Akina Harley was slow to begin.

Extreme Summer shifted in soon after the start checking Riley's Paige and Lektra Zephyr.  Hazelwood Flyer and Extreme Summer collided on the first turn checking Hazelwood Flyer and Lektra Zephyr, and causing Extreme Summer to fall.  

Extreme Summer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left scapula fracture. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Hazelwood Flyer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. 

My Hardaway Hana – Late scratching at 9.35am when Mrs T. Welsh reported the greyhound to have an injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shanlyn Georgie was quick to begin.  Rockin' Joe was slow to begin.

Akina Dee Jay checked off Shanlyn Georgie soon after the start.  Akina Dee Jay checked off Liberal Nunnio on the first turn and collided with Rockin' Joe.  Akina Dee Jay and Rockin' Joe collided approaching the second turn causing both greyhounds to become unbalanced. 

Feikuai Donna shifted in soon after the start checking Big Deal and colliding with Libby's Dream.  Molly Coaster checked off Libby's Dream on the first turn checking Kissable and Big Deal.  Libby's Dream and Big Deal collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Another Bling, Libby's Dream and Big Deal collided on the home turn checking Libby's Dream.

Libby's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 525mtrs with 3 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 29.90:             

She Will Bloom finished 1st, Dyna Quail finished 2nd, Miss Sweet Pea finished 3rd.

Dyna Quail– Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as connections wish to remove blinkers from the greyhound Weighing 22.9kgs and beginning from box 1, beaten by 14 lengths. Dyna Quail has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Miss Sweet Pea – Was stood down from racing at Meadows for failing to chase. Weighing 27.9kgs and beginning from box 3 beaten by 14 ¼ lengths Miss Sweet Pea has been cleared to race at all tracks.

She Will Bloom – Was stood down from racing at Meadows for failing to chase. Weighing 27.4kgs and beginning from box 5 winning by 14 lengths. She Will Bloom has been cleared to race at all tracks.
