Dyna Yella faltered and pulled up, approaching the first turn. My Word Shirley, Cyril Figgis and Through collided approaching the first turn, checking Through. My Word Shirley and Cyril Figgis collided on the first turn, checking Cyril Figgis.
Dyna Yella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg calf injury. A 14 stand down period was imposed. Stewards conferred with the On Track Veterinarian who confirmed that Dyna Yella's racing action was consistent with the injury detected. As a result, Stewards took no action against Dyna Yella's racing manners.
