Steward's Report

Weetbix Jester and Zipping Winnie collided soon after the start. Weetbix Jester, Eddie and Coffee Scroll collided on the first turn checking Weetbix Jester. Weetbix Jester and Zoe's All collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Weetbix Jester. Hua Hin and Coffee Scroll collided on the second turn checking Hua Hin. Coffee Scroll and Zipping Winnie collided entering the home straight.

Weetbix Jester underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back injury and a right hip injury. A 21 stand down period was imposed.

Zoe's All underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke and issued a warning to Mr Abraham Formosa the trainer of Zoe's All regarding the greyhound’s performance in todays event. Mr Formosa stated that the greyhound has had four solo trials over the 660m at Bendigo and had been trialling well. Mr Formosa also added that the greyhound had received interference on the first turn and that he was disappointed in the greyhounds run today. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), Stewards directed Mr. Formosa should inform Stewards anything that might have affected the running of the greyhound as soon as practicable.
