Hone In and Major Riot were quick to begin. Belt Up Bubbs was slow to begin.
Dyna Chancer, Street Outlaw, Dyna Hunter and Crash Cobra collided soon after the start. Hone In checked off the heels of Major Riot on the first turn. Dyna Hunter checked off the heels of Belt Up Bubbs on the first turn and collided with Crash Cobra. Street Outlaw galloped on the heels of Militant Spirit approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Dyna Chancer checked off the heels of Militant Spirit approaching the home turn. Militant Spirit and Dyna Chancer raced tightly and collided several times in the home straight.
