Peter Galo – Not raced for in excess of three months and is returning to racing from a right monkey muscle injury.
The start of this race was delayed approximately one and a half minutes, due to a thoroughbred race at Murwillumbah running behind schedule.
Peter Galo and Gunmetal Liam were slow to begin. Destini Cowboy, Yohan, Peter Galo and Little Women collided approaching the first turn, checking Peter Galo and Little Women. Tankalicious and Pyrenees Inferno collided approaching the first turn, checking Pyrenees Inferno. Yohan and Peter Galo collided on the first turn, checking Peter Galo and Little Women. Destini Cowboy and Peter Galo collided approaching the home turn, checking Peter Galo, Yohan and Little Women. Pyrenees Inferno and Destini Cowboy collided entering the home straight, checking Destini Cowboy. Peter Galo faltered approaching the winning post and collided with Pyrenees Inferno.
