Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Sisco Ride.

Deano's Smidge and Sisco Ride collided soon after the start. Deano's Smidge, Sisco Ride and Over And Away colllided approaching the first turn checking Sisco Ride. Over And Away checked off Deano's Smidge entering the front straight. Sisco Ride and Over And Away collided on the second turn. Samsonite faltered approaching the third turn and pulled up. George's Fever raced wided in the back straight and again entering the home straight.

Samsonite was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right factured hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

The track was inspected following the event and found suitable to continue racing.
