Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Tonner, the representative of Ita Louisa regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ita Louisa last raced on 5 September 2018 and is returning from a seasonal spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Coffee Scroll.
It's A Frenzy and Zipping Buffy were quick to begin.
Terrigal Tornando and Stevie Dee collided soon after the start. Coffee Scroll and Zipping Benny collided soon after the start. Stevie Dee and Coffee Scroll collided approaching the second turn. Zipping Amy and Ita Louisa collided approaching the home turn. It's A Frenzy and Zipping Buffy collided in the home straight.
Terrigal Tornando was vetted and re-vetted following event 8. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Miss J. Hampshire, the representative of the greyhound Terrigal Tornado. Stewards deemed the performance of Terrigal Tornado unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Terrigal Tornado must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
